John McCain: A young and beautiful woman.
McCain Aide: What about the issue of experience?
John McCain: Experience will take a back seat to Beauty and Youth.
McCain Aide: Why a woman?
John McCain: A woman will give my campaign the “Clinton effect”.
McCain Aide: But she has less experience than Barack and...
John McCain: But she will give my conservative base someone with guns…guts…and she’s gorgeous!
McCain Aide: But what if you kick the bucket sooner, and not later, after you become president?
John McCain: Then all of my friends and this country will have a president that they can stand to look at for a change.
