NOT HAVING MUCH TO SAY BUT TRYING TO SAY SOMETHING

***

He that lives upon Hope,
dies Farting.

Poor Richard's Almanac, 1736

Today's world feels like a maelstrom.

STRESS.

NOISE.

H1N1.

TERRORISTS.

BILLS.

"Stop the world...
I want to get off?"

Well, not quite.

The new movies are a reflection of the world today (and tomorrow).

I'm inside the maelstrom.

I'm Holding on for dear life.

Embracing each moment as though it might be my last.

I write my little poems and light verse to grin and bear it all.

A soothing catharsis.

No, don't stop the world...

I'll stay on...

I'll endure...

Come
Hell
Or
High
Water...

Or

War...

Or

Asteroids...

Or

Black Holes...

Or

Aliens!
