If George W. Bush was detested and denounced for deeds designed by deception, then Barack Obama might become disliked and damned for his broken promises.
Mr. Obama seems to have kowtowed to the right-wing when it comes to the military.
His picks of Gates and Clinton for their cabinet posts are examples.
Hillary Clinton was for the Iraq war before she was against it. Barack was always against the Iraq war.
Adversaries can enable persons in power when they become advocates.
Barack may be shrewd to make sure that the mad (and angry) jihadists know that he is not completely jumping Bush’s ship and piloting a completely new one of his own.

Many “wrinkles” will need to be ironed out in the first year (and four years) of Obama’s reign.

Recession.
Joblessness.
Health-care.

Roads.
Alternative Energy.
