THEY CREATED A NIGHTMARE

The real sham (and shame) of the U.S. pre-emptive war, invasion and occupation of Iraq is that it was a sham from the beginning.
It is becoming more believable (yet still incredible) that Bush & Co knew about the impending attack on September 11, 2001 and did nothing to stop it.
It is becoming more believable (yet still incredible) that the defenses of the nation were put on hold and stopped from defending the Pentagon and the WTC on September 11, 2001.
The shame is that the Bush administration will feel just as fine when they leave this war (for the next generation) as when they attacked.
Because their war profits will have been made for themselves and their corrupt cronies.
But their souls and consciences will feel guilt and pain, even if only on a subconscious-unconscious level (where Bush seems to dwell anyway.)
American taxes paid for this war.
The profits of Halliburton and subsidiaries were misgotten by overcharging and stealing.
This might be the end of the American dream.
A small group of men ended the American dream.
They created a nightmare.
