Stand up...stand up...stand up then the U.S. will stand down (and lay down more and more of the dead.)
The pundits keep saying, "Well...what if Iraq succeeds...and does become a democracy?"
George W. Bush would then be a hero and not what he is right now.
But what else can conquering kings and presidents say and do?
They cannot stand in front of the camera eye that is peering at the world's billions and admit any mistakes.
They came, they saw and they confabulated.
