SEX AND PROFANITY ON TV

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Senate late on Thursday approved boosting fines tenfold to $325,000 on television and radio broadcast stations that violate rules on airing profanity or sexually explicit material. (May 18, 2006)

Here is the unofficial FINE List:

1. The F word is
$50,000 per letter.
For example, F*****G's FINE would be $350,000.

2. All other obscene words: $25,000 per letter.
For example, SH**'s FINE would be $100,000.

3. If the F word is conjoined with other profanity, then the FINE is doubled.
For example, F*****G SH**'s Fine would be $900,000.

4. For sexually explicit material and/or exposure of the body's anatomy:

Male member: $1,000,000
Female member: $2,000,000
Breasts: $250,000 each (Pasties will not reduce the FINE)

For all of the above, FINES are doubled when sizes are very big.

5. After three violations, all offenders will get their tongues AND exposed body parts removed and sold for charity.
